Empire Pizza was founded in 2008 as a holding company for shares of various Domino’s Pizza stores throughout Ontario. Empire is wholly and equally owned by Werner J. Lomker, Werner H. Lomker and Shane Linthorne. These partners in pizza have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of excellence within the world famous Domino’s Pizza brand. Their years of experience are many, with Werner J. starting in 1981, Werner H. in 1996 and Shane in 1994. This group is always prominent at awards ceremonies, winning awards such as Rolex Challenge, Supervisor of the Year, Canada’s Fastest Pizza Maker, $1 Million Club, Five Star Operations, Highest % Sales Growth in Canada, Top Five Highest Sales Growth by Dollars, Order Up! International Champions and many more to come.

Currently the company holds ownership in 6 locations in Ontario: Mississauga (Meadowvale), Acton, Georgetown, Simcoe, Alliston and Bracebridge. Plans to add new stores through acquisition and new build-outs are slated to continue in 2012. Empire recruits and trains Operating Partners for all new locations, giving mostly disillusioned young people clear opportunities to build wealth though majority ownership in their own Domino’s store. Managers are taken through a roughly 2 year “boot camp”, before they can become an Operating Partner. This is not a program for the faint of heart, the hours and expectations are intense and gruelling.

Empire is committed to not only adhering to the values and standards of the Domino’s parent company, but improving upon them. We do not know the words “minimum standards”, but intensely seek to excel to the top in our operations. For example, the Canada Wide goal for average delivery time is an impressive 25 minutes, however, in Empire stores the average is 19 minutes.
